Hello - an unknown new mass should always be examined or tested before assumptions are made.  If a new lump is simply constructed of fat, the treatment is likely different to that when a tumour or cyst is identified, for example.

Hi thanks for your interest my dog is 11 years old and a Staffordshire bull terrier She had an operation in December 2026 to debulk the mass but it has grown back in this time even bigger .Speaking to our vet today he gave us three options to think about.1 to debulk the mass again 2 to amputate the leg 3 to refer to a specialist in veterinary oncology I attach some images thank you once again IMG_2555IMG_2554IMG_2553
