Sadly, due to serious misdiagnosis at another vet practice, I lost my cat. Highcliff, who finally properly diagnosed him and did everything they could, were absolutely amazing. Never, at anytime, did I feel unsure of what I was being told and what was or was not possible. Thanks to Marie at Brantham he passed peacefully, out of pain and looking much much better than he had when I rushed him in. We’d been chasing the problem (which turned out to be suspected lymphoma) round for absolutely weeks while I kept being told they couldn’t find anything wrong! The professional manner, coupled with the empathy and highest care made a horrible time much easier for Beans. I can’t thank everyone enough

Our pets have been registered with Highcliff since we moved into the area in 1982, so they've cared for our assorted dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea-pigs and other creatures for 34 years. Whether it's been regular checkups, treatment for illness, neutering (one bitch had the neatest little scar ever!), dental care or surgery (most recently for a cat that had a nasty RTA), or the inevitable euthanasias, nothing's been too much trouble. I have complete confidence in Highcliff, who care for owners as well as their pets.

We have been registered with Highcliffe Hadleigh for 14 years now (since arriving in Hadleigh). They have consistently given excellent personal care and service to our beloved furry family members. We feel blessed to have such good vets so nearby.

I have been a dog owner all my life and been lucky that in the past year be had very healthy dogs, however my last dog peros was not so lucky. Although she had a long life her final years involved regular visits to see Jane, Richard and Gemma. She was diabetic and with the care and support of all of the staff at highcliff Hadleigh she had a good life. A month before we said good bye she showed signs of heart failure, but with medication she improved, then the day we all dread, her breathing became really bad, I took her to see Gemma and although she was eating and drinking well she was struggling. It was time to say goodbye. The care and support I received was brilliant, peros was such a character and so well known by the staff, that on that day it was not just me that felt the loss. I'm moving on now, peros and her effect on my life will always remain, but a house is not a home without a dog , so we are getting a new family member, who will be cared for by highcliff Hadleigh. No one else would do as they are the best. I highly recommend highcliff Hadleigh, we all want the best for our pets and in my book they are. Thank you highcliff for your continued support and for being there for our community.

I have used Highcliff Vetrinary practice since I moved to Hadleigh 6 years ago. During this time they have cared for my dogs in a very professional and caring way. The receptionists and nurses are lovely and have always gone that extra mile for us eg when we had to have one of our dogs put to sleep, the receptionist kindly cancelled a dental appointment I was supposed to be attending and made sure I was ok until my husband arrived which was most appreciated. All of the vets that I have seen with our dogs have given us sound advice and medical care for them. At this present time we have a dog with what I believe is a fairly rare condition which was quickly spotted and is being treated. I believe we have a bit of a journey ahead to get the condition under control but I am confident in the care that everyone at Highcliffs in Hadleigh will give. Many Thanks

We have just moved to the area so needed a vets close so the obvious choice was Highcliff. However having been there a few months now and visiting the surgery on many occasions I just find the staff rude, blank and miserable. I don't think I have ever seen a smile, they seem to care about the animals though they never seem excited to be there or doing it and as for trying to get some interaction, forget about it
Vet ResponseWe are sorry that we haven't come across on your visits to the surgery as the friendly team we really are. We had our Open Day at Hadleigh last weekend and were joined by over 100 people and we all had a great time, as you will see from the photos soon to be published on our website (www.highcliffvets.com) and Facebook Page. We hope that given your positive comments on our care for your animals and VIP Plan you'll give us the chance to prove to you that we really aren't the miseries that You have mistaken us for! We have However appreciated you letting us know the impression that you were left with and we always strive to improve. Clearly from your point of view we have some way to go, which is most disappointing. In order for us to explore what might be going adrift, it would be helpful if you provided us with more details and with at least one specific example. We would be pleased to talk to you directly and your best point of contact would be our Managing Partner, John Reading who can be contacted on his direct line, 01473 828846

My husband and I have used this practice for all the dogs we have had in the last 34 years, and have always had very friendly and helpful advice. All the staff have done their very best to keep our dogs healthy and give any treatment necessary. Unfortunately we, and they have been upset that results haven't always been as we all hoped, but we know everyone have done their best.
