On 11th of June, VetHelpDirect hosted the 2024 BestUKVets Awards in Bristol – and almost 200 representatives of the shortlisted practices turned out for a great celebration of the best of the UK’s vet practices. But the BestUKVets Awards aren’t just for clinical brilliance (although there was plenty of that in the room!) but for outstanding customer service – because these awards are voted on by you, the animal owning public of the UK.

How the BestUKVets Awards work

Every practice in the UK is listed on VetHelpDirect.com or our sister site, Any-UK-Vet.co.uk – and any of the clients of these practices can leave a review of their practice. Every year, in February, we add up the 4- and 5-star reviews, and the practice with the highest number of great reviews wins.

However, it’s not just the coveted overall award – because vet practices come in all shapes and sizes, there are also Category Awards (for example, Best Small Practice, Best Start-up, and Best Equine Practice), and geographical ones (like Best in County or Best Welsh Practice).

We run the reviews system to reward excellence in customer service, and there’s no payment necessary to be entered!
