I have wanted to be a vet for as long as I can remember and I'm one of those lucky people who gets to live their dream. I qualified in 2010 and have been looking after people's pets ever since. My favourite aspect of veterinary medicine has always been consulting. I love building a bond with pet owners, getting to know their pets and their funny little quirks and helping support people make the decision that is right for them. Medicine cases are my special interest, I enjoy the challenge and variety they present and the huge difference we can make to an animal's quality of life by getting their treatment right.
I have 2 dogs, Groot and Poppy and 2 cats, Mungojerry and Skimbleshanks. I also have 4 fish and am enjoying learning more about looking after them as they are new to me. Outside of work, I spend most of my time looking after my menagerie and that includes 2 children. I grew up with animals and a house just feels empty without them.
