Nicola qualified from Cambridge university in 2004. In 2008 she gained her certificate in small animal surgery and is now registered as an advanced practitioner in this area. She currently works in a busy veterinary hospital in Berkshire and enjoys seeing a wide variety of orthopaedic and soft tissue surgical cases. If not treating patients she is happiest in her garden trying - sometimes successfully - to grow a few vegetables.
