Amy Jackson graduated from the RVC in 2011. Before commencing her first graduate position, she spent time in South East Asia volunteering in animal shelters, providing free veterinary treatment for stray animals and pets that would otherwise not have access to it. On her return to the UK she worked for a small family run practice in Exeter before undertaking a number of Locum roles; gaining experience in a variety of different small animal practices. In recent years she has worked at an independent and highly regarded clinic in the heart of the New Forest. Amy has a passion for sustainable veterinary practice and is working towards an environmental award for her work in this area.
