lakiya graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2019. During the course she spent one year studying at the University of Bristol, where she gained an intercalated BSc in Animal Behaviour and Welfare science. After qualifying she went on to work as a small animal vet in central London. She is now working towards a career that combines her interests in veterinary medicine, animal welfare, technology and business.
