After graduating from vet school in 2021, Joe worked for three years in first opinion practice, and is now working at a first opinion and referral practice studying for a Certificate of Advanced Veterinary Practice (CertAVP). Joe has a keen interest in soft tissue surgery and ultrasonography, and is developing both those skills as part of his certificate.

In his spare time, Joe likes to read, paint landscape paintings, hike, go to the gym, and cook. He lives surrounded by a corn snake and far too many plants.
