Originally from Canada, Marie holds a Master's in Animal Nutrition with a specialty focus on novel protein sources for dogs. After completing veterinary school in Edinburgh, she began her career working with poultry in Scotland. Wanting to return to her nutrition roots, she went on to complete a clinical nutrition residency in Belgium with the European College of Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition (ECVCN). Marie has since opened a clinical nutrition practice in Edinburgh, where she tailors diets for cats and dogs with medical conditions. Her interest in nutrition has also led her to work with a variety of species including llamas, alpacas, and tapirs. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling and hiking the trails around Scotland. Marie currently lives with Meeyu, a chatty Bengal cat who always has something to say.
