Samantha graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 1994. Her first job was in Suffolk in a mixed animal practice. Although she enjoyed working with farm animals and horses she realised that her future would be in small animal work, so after a year she moved on. She spent the next few years working as a locum in a variety of different practices while also raising a family.
Samantha developed interests in surgery and behaviour. She also wished to take a more holistic approach to veterinary medicine so in 2008 she opened her own practice. The practice quickly became successful and in 2011 it moved to larger premises where it is still situated. Samantha continues to work in small animal practice while enjoying being with her family and life in the countryside.
